this is definitely my favorite style – if i had a little girl of my own, she’d be in tutus and babylegs all the time! my boys can handle the babylegs, but a tutu won’t be making it home in my shopping bag. so i just enjoy the wide variety of tutus i get to photograph this holiday season – more tutu posts to come!

for those of you wondering why you haven’t heard anything from my mom lately – she’s cruising to australia with her brother (uncle mike). she was planning on keeping us all updated often, but hasn’t been able to access her blog or email yet… i’ve received a few very brief emails from my uncle just to let me know they’re fine and were not affected by the tsunami, though there have been a few rough days at sea with rain and winds. i snagged the photos below from mike’s facebook page:
leaving san francisco – september 23 – first stop is hilo, HI, and then to lahaina, before a long stretch at sea as they make their way to bora bora.
bora bora – sunday, october 4 (i think) – 84 degrees, showers off and on, and swimming with manta rays!
papeete on monday (oct 5) – moorea on tuesday (oct 6) – and today (it’s actually tomorrow there right now) they are currently sitting on the beach in tahiti. – don’t forget to look for some shells for me, mom! love you guys & miss you!
